Grip Factory Munich was formed in 1999 by Toni Tundo, Derek Magee and Armin Weileder, a group of dedicated engineers who already had more than decade of experience in cine camera support systems. Today, their high standard of manufacturing process involves a team of highly skilled engineers, CNC machinists and technicians. All GFM products are all surfaced hardened, in a patented procedure (Hart-Coat®) which gives a hard, scratch proof finish which protects and extends the life span of each piece of equipment. This company listens to individual customer's requirements and obliges them. You can take our word for it. It is ‘Made in Germany’ aswell
 
 
Cranes
  
 

GFM camera cranes are manufactured to the highest level of engineering precision. The modular design of these cranes allows for easy transportation when dismantled. With an aerodynamic design combined with the high grade pan and tilt bearing systems, the GFM cranes allows for unmatched ease of movement and remains rock steady on the set at all times. Their products are TuV certified for safety. Currently, there are five models to choose from: GF-8 with 1.5m to 8.3m reach, GF-8 Xten with 1.5m to 10.5m reach, GF-9 with 1.5m to 10m reach, GF-10 with 3m to 11.5m reach and the GF-16 with 4m to 15.3m reach. All cranes, except the GF-9, are platform- end and remote-end operable. The GF-9 is a lightweight crane with remote-end operation. The wide range of accessories include telescopic mounting columns, tripods, camera mount adapters, dollies, tracks and track wheels for each model.



 
 
Dollies & Tracks
 

The GF-Quad Dolly is a precision camera dolly with four wheel steering and twin seating. Weighing 43 kgs, it can be configured for different applications in conjunction pneumatic wheels or track wheels. GFM's jib arms can also be mounted to give the cameraman wider angles of shots. The GF-Lite Dolly is a stable, lightweight, platform dolly designed to accept pneumatic or track wheels. Accessories like add-on platforms makes the GF-Lite a versatile piece of camera support that can be transported with ease.

The GF-Grip Kit is a small platform bazooka type lightweight dolly that can go where regular size dollies will not fit. With the dolly base removed and with special mounting adapters, the Grip Kit can be easily mounted on cars or SUVs for action shots. The GF-Track Dolly is the smallest and simplest of the lot fitted with skateboard wheels. Several high precision TuV certified tracks in straights and curves are available for all dollies and cranes
