CrashCam's state-of-the-art camera housing system is designed to take your ARRI cam on the most hazardous and dangerous shooting trips without any risk of damage to your camera. The 24" long, 12" diameter protectivehousing with accept SL Cine MkII, ARRI 2C and ARRI 3 cameras and is thesmallest crash system in the world.
It will accommodate Panavision's 10mm Primo and 28mm E-series Anamorphic to the180mm E-series without vignetting. The CrashCam system is built around technologythe industry's leading innovators like SL Cine's 35 MkII camera and low profile magazines, Cinematography Electronics' 2C motor base and Precision Speed Control for camera speeds from 3 to 80 fps forward or reverse; Preston Cinema System's FIZ and Digital Lens Control.
Remote pull-focus, adjusting iris or changing camera speed are all possible
without ever having to open the CrashCam housing. A custom-made 200' and 400'
magazines means you don't have to reload after a false start or after everytake. With optional microwave-linked equipment you can operate the system completely wireless up to 1 kilometer distance, but within line-of-sight.
