• Started in 1975 as retail store selling music records and audio cassettes
• First outlet in Chennai to sell Audio compact discs.
• Moved into sales of consumer audio electronics (amplifiers, speakers etc.)
• Gained the title of “The Music People” with in a short span.
• Found the need for After Sale Services – Started own service center in 1987.
• In 1989 we were given the authorization to service AIWA (Japan) consumer electronics.
• Expanded our network in 1990 by receiving service authorization from SONY, Japan.
• In 2000 Pioneer’s (Japan), authorized service center was added to our group
• In 2001, decision was made to expand into sales/service of products for professional movie and television industry.

Since 2001, Stereovision gradually acquired distributorship & service agency in India for products made by many leading international manufactures supporting cine, television, broadcast and entertainment industries. Today, we are the sole authorized distributors and service agents in India for the following manufacturing companies:
